I imagine this is being done for all the wrong reasons but it seems to, in effect, enforce the multilateral sanctions.
They took a lot of their oil infrastructure from US companies didn't they? Basically, stole it? I'm confused how enforcing these sanctions that have been on the books for a long time means soldiers should disobey valid orders?

Europe seized vessels of Russian citizens as well as shadow fleet tanker due to sanctions. VZ is sanctioned. What's the diff?
