I built AutoBrief (https://autobrief.dev) because I was tired of spending 90 minutes writing postmortems after every incident, only for the action items to be forgotten by next week.
AutoBrief does two things:
1. You fill a structured form (what happened, timeline, impact, root cause, action items). AI generates 4 outputs: engineering brief, executive summary, status page update, and runbook delta. Takes about 10 minutes.
2. Every action item goes into a dashboard. You can see what's open, what's overdue, and your team's completion rate. A weekly Slack digest reminds you what's still outstanding.
The whole thing is encrypted (AES-256-GCM), workspace-isolated, and we don't train on your data.
I built this because at my previous job we had the same database connection pool exhaustion incident three times in six months. The fix was in the postmortem action items every time. Nobody ever did it.
