I use AI to generate proposed edits, usually from provided references. That way it's less free form. I try and run them through two or three models, since I have found they're best when critiquing material from other models. References themselves are often uncovered by AI, or at least AI-backed Google Books. I also use AI to fact check material from other editors.

I can only see this ending badly. Wikiedia already can't manage their deletionist problem.
