I can honestly say that I was far better off a decade ago, despite making half the salary I currently do.
In 2011 Portlandia joked that Portland is where young people went to retire. Now Portland is where anyone that doesn't own a house will never retire.
I get the same sense of a K shaped recovery in the UK. Feels like society is splitting in half
