ok- what scientific research would this be used for? the only application i can truely think this would be useful for is predatory targeted ads
That's the whole point. But it can go much further.
Accessibility.
I, sometimes, use a circular software keyboard, that is controlled by eye tracking.
Maybe TikTok will start using this to see what parts of the video you enjoyed most.
