I really feel for 'The Onion' trying to do it's thing in an age where satire is indistinguishable from reality.
He’s mad because they see Venezuela has a money pit.

Oil is a global market and these corporations have a legal fiduciary responsibility to stakeholder. I doubt the legality of them providing fuel at a lower cost to American's if it can be sold abroad for more. Ignoring any refining realities.
