this type of perfomative "woke" behavior and language policing only exists because it lets humanities students from rich families recognize each other. you dont fix it by getting rid of DEI or anti racism but by removing elitism from schools.
i dont know how to fix this. reducing costs, randomized admissions, sending the best teachers to lower ranked schools, maybe set up a matching program like they use for medical residencies. all of these would probably work to equalize things a little bit but it might not be enough to change the culture to the point elite colleges dont matter.
