Nothing good can come of "hacking" our natural inclination to trust other human faces this way.
Why would this be good for anything but scams and disorder? What is the actually prosocial use case?
Systems a little bit like this used are sometimes used in medical school as a form of simulated patient for students to practice communication skills with. Niche, but plausibly positive.
I'd rather have the machine feel like a machine when I'm interacting with it. I actually prefer that. This seems like it's adding negative value.
