That being said, I’m pretty jealous of the way Zig handles comptime values (and implements a form of generics through that).
To me, using a macro in a type position just feels like temporary scaffolding, which the post itself admits is 'undesirable in the long term.' What's left up in the air is the parsing problem that's breaking the macroless variants.
