If this gets accepted we could get some rather "interesting" urls like https://www.index.php/index.php.
Or something like https://php.php.php/php.php.
Unfortunately I can't find an acceptable homoglyph for the trailing slash, leaving oh so many phishing opportunities on the table. /s
